I BEAT OBERON SMOG!!! LIKE THE slime HE IS!

Good morning everybuddy!!! Extra earlyblog this morning cause I'm about to take the SAT. X_X wish me luck... bwuh!!! Sooo last night I did club and then I spent like 2 hours of Oberon kicking my tail. I was getting kinda sad n shit :( so I said I was having trouble in a server. My friend Cookie dmed me some tips, and I was already sorta using that strategy but their support helped me!!! Thanks Cookie. I gtg now so I'll talk more abt it later!!

I'm baaaack! I've finished the test XP soooo. Anyways the boss battle!! I was losing hope until I used Rude Buster on the green section, and I think there it can skip turns... Anyways I suddenly got new dialogue about having hope, and it inspired me! And then Cookie helped me and cheered me on, and suddenly... I was winning the fight! THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP IS FUCKING REAL!!!! So that was so awesome, and I loved the cutscene and the axe. It doesn't have any special powers, but it made me get stronger. Maybe I won't ever play the green soul mode again, but if I do I might be better. And I know the next time I have a challenge that keeps beating me down, I'll get my ass kicked until I don't! The dialogue in the fight was interesting. In general, Oberon's point of view on the ablity to change the story and write your own ending, and Alvin's earlier lines about writing into blank spots... Well, actually, Alvin's lines reminded me of something else initially. Because of the religious context, I was reminded about Midrash, which is basically just fanfiction of the Torah. Anyways, the OTHER thing it reminded me of was the intense fan community surrounding predictions for future chapters. It's A Lot! It took up like, a solid two years of my life, and it was intense. Between theorizing, and fansongs, and hoaxes and AUs and fangames Deltarune has been a blank canvas that fans have attacked with our eager brushes. To have an ending, what ending would you like? I see myself in Susie when she declares she does not want an ending, why do good things have to end? Why should they, actually? And I think Susie is going to have to push that into her life in the Light World as well, and make her life in the Light World also a good thing. I dunno where I'm going with this!!! I'm just rambling before I get picked up. But I think Susie, creating a Dark Fountain with Kris is one step towards her writing her own story. Wrriting utensils are, after all, swords in the Dark Worlds- and that is her prophesized weapon.

THE CRACKPOT WAS RIGHT!??!

Hello everybuddy! I've been playing chapter 4 whenever I can!! I liked the scenes a lot at the start in Noelle's house. Her house is BIG! All the Kris/Soul shennanigans were fun. I think that they were calling Carol on the phone, and my friend suggested that there were at least two people in that call. Speaking of Carol, why are her antlers blue? Are they socks??? I am not sure if Carol is the knight. Her katana (and its frequent use) makes her a prime suspect, but I just don't think she has the time to do it, if that makes any sense? Assuming Kris calls her, she comes home. She could have stopped at the church to make the fountain, and it is implied that she has multiple katanas. She has one in her kitchen, and a man in the Town Hall says she slashed his briefcase in half with her katana. Presumably, she has at least two! But... When we enter the fountain, we basically see the knight right away. So what, did she double back after chewing out Noelle in the kitchen? I don't think she would have the time to. My current theory is that the Roaring Knight is a darkner/duskner ghost of Dess, similarly to Old Man/Gerson/Let's Just Call Him Oberon Smog Because It's Funny. At least, I've noticed that Susie can't seem to hit Oberon and I think that's because he's some sort of ghost. I'm not sure if the Roaring Knight has been trapped in there for a long time or something. Maybe they're in a state similar to being fallen down, and that's why it seems like the mayor wants Kris's soul. She wants to resssurect her daughter so she can live a normal life and not be like... a giant frothing plume of antlered darkness. I'm not sure. Either way, the timing doesn't work. Carol Holiday has an alibi.

Speaking of Oberon Smog... So I talked to a kid at my school today, and we both think we're in the middle of the chapter, at the green soul fight. Except they were saying it seemed pretty mandatory, and I felt like it was definitely secret boss stuff.... Eventually, they mentioned Kris joining your side. I was confused! I asked how long that took, and they didn't understand how I hadn't reached it because "the battle was just pressing left and right". I told them my battle was much harder. We kept talking, and we realized we are doing two different fights! It seems like Oberon Smog fights you automatically, and he also fights you as a secret boss. I can't believe I am semi-ironically let's be real unironically calling him Oberon Smog. Holy shit!!!

Anyways we kept talking. It sounds like they found the two codes in the South Towers, but not the one where the gold hits the water. Lucky me! It was the first one I found. Anyways the battle is kinda hard, but it's fun! I've never really gotten to experience that realm of playground rumors, so it was really exciting talking to someone IRL about this. I'm also trying to restrict my online discussion to close friends (love y'all) since I think that atmosphere can also be cultivated in online spaces. I don't usually like spoilers, but it was so exciting learning more about the game that I didn't expect! It makes me wonder what it would be like in terms of the Weird Route, if we were still less connected.

I dunno how long it'll take me to beat Oberon Smog. I put Dealmaker and Jevilstail and the new vampire axe (i forgot da name X,D) on Susie so her magic stats pretty high and she's getting a little bit of healing each turn. After I lost a couple fights she's been healing like 72 with each ok heal, so that's helpful!! Alas I have cosplay club today (which will actually probably be pretty fun) andd stupid baka SAT prep (what the fuuuuck) but after all that i'll be playing more!!! OBERON SMOG, I WILL KICK UR ASS!!!! >:3

HOLY SHIT! Last night, I sped home from school, and I played Most of Chapter 3. I finished Chapter 3, but I couldn't find the secret boss. I'm pretty sure I'm close! Ramb said I needed to S rank the first challenge, so I'll snag that on my replay. :) OH MY GOSH!! I FUCKING LOVE TENNA SO MUCH!!! He's cool and bombastic and I love his typing quirk!!! I see why he was hard to translate... I love the little gimmicks. The video games were fun! Also he's 3d. I had a massive skill issue on the cooking show (oh well) but I enjoyed Lightners Live!! I think I found a lot of secrets. I found Tenna's bonus zone. All the rainbow wonky text in this chapter... Me like. I saw that funky pipis-spamton cutscene. I wasn't a huge fan since I feel like it made Spamton's death feel less serious... But I admit I definitely laaughed when Tenna covered him in foam! Guys I love tennis. Tenna. Can we call him Tennis. Can we do that.

It was also fun to see Toriel! Especially with THAT ENDING... Holy shit. Knightmayor real? I read the voices aloud and it was just so fun. I played a little chapter four this morning, and I plan to play more when I get home from school! God I can't wait. I'm gonna TRY to work on assignments, but... All I wanna do is think about Tenna!!!

DELTARUNE TODAY: JUNE 4TH 2025

Deltarune chapters 3 and 4 releasing are as if someone confirmed the existance of God to me. Not necessarily in the sense that I worship Deltarune, lmao. Also, I already sort of believe in God. So maybe it's not the best metaphor.... For the longest time, the Truth of my Life has been that Deltarune has chapters one, two and the Sweepstakes released. Three whole years of obsessing, exhilarating. I've been lost so many times and I found my home on Deltarune's little fandom corner of the internet. I love this fandom. I love being fourteen, ending up in a not-so-secret-society with people I barely know and still knowing them today. I yearn for delving into an ocean of Fanon, of music and hoaxes that enveloped me and let me stress about something unreal. I love Umbrashard, I love my friends and all the people who I know and recognize just as I do my offline friends. I grew up with the sentiment that you cannot trust anyone online, that online friends are not real- And I know this is so undeniably false, because I love my friends. I get happy when I see you guys. It doesn't matter what seperates us.

I love Hometown Incidents. I love Dogtarune (Neocities) and I love scrolling through the guestbook, recognizing people I knew. I loved finding other interests from Deltarune, like cosplay and Homestuck. I've met basically the Kewlest Person Ever (you know who you are) and I love you so much, and I cannotfucking believe that we met because of Hometown Goddamn Incidents Deltarune.

Anyways, chapters 3-4 releasing disrupts this Eternal Truth that Deltarune is unfinished, that we can write our own endings. Excitment consumes me and turns to stress, and I don't know what to think. I hope I love it, I fear I'll be disappointed. I know I will be disappointed, and I know I will love it, and I'll know I'll take forever on the bosses! XD

So it'll be fun anyways.

Also I did a closet cosplay of Ralsei, and so far I've talked to two kids who like Deltarune and ran into one kid who had a Susie outfit on!! I love the weird nerds at my school <3 Deltarune today!!!!!

Nice to see the shadowguy fight again. This time, there's an ammo marker up top! I wonder if you only have a certain amount of ammo per action... If so, can you find an item to alter it? Hmm!!! We shall see!

Okay, this shot is SO WEIRD. Umm. Uhhh. Um!!!! Yeah, it's WEIRD. Strangelore XD no but the two pads have the same colors as Friend's face... This also reminds me a lot of the green soul in Undertale. Even though the soul is still red... That's pretty weird. I wonder if this is at all related? This really looks like some sort of weird secret boss challenge, or just a side challenge in general. Funky. I'm not sure what to make of it... I think face.ogg is definitely important to chapter 3, though.

Neat! This next shot is DEFINITELY from chapter 3. It looks like the Fun Gang is taking a trip into MTV! Ahh... That one rhythmn game from Undertale Yellow is coming back to kick my ass, isn't it..... The back looks like this show is called "Lightner's Live". I wonder if that's the name of the entire show, or if it's just the name of this one? There's also a popularity meter on the side. I notice Susie is drumming on her own. I wonder if she acts alone during TV sections?

Next, Susie tosses Kris up onto... A wall? It looks like they are climbing. The characters also seem tinted. There are three windows above Kris, which sort of remind me of the church. There's another shot later on with angel tiles on the floor and the same tint, so that makes me think Chapter 4 takes place in the church. Kris slides..? along the wall, climbing from one tile to the next.

OH MY ANGEL!!! OH MY FUCKING GOODNESS GRACIOUS DO YOU ALL SEE THAT. DO YOU SEE THAT. THAT BOY IS IN 3D. THEY HAVE TAKEN MY BEAUTIFUL TV BOY TENNA AND 3D MODELED HIM. HE IS GOING WHERE NO FANTENNA HAS GONE BEFORE> OKAY EXCEPT MAYBE JASTENNA??? IDK THAT ONE SEEMS LIKE HE'D GET 3D MODELE. WHATEVER. Anyways, this is SO FREAKING COOL! I have no clue if the 3d shot is just meant to look cool for the trailer, or if Tenna's boss will be 3D ingame- Either way, it looks super cool and I can't wait!!! I love the BOYS who are TVS...

The last photo is the one I mentioned earlier. This makes me really think that chapter four will be in the church- The angel motifs are intense! Then again, we know Noelle's family is religious. Maybe they just have that sort of thing in their house...? I wonder what the things chasing them are. After this there's a pretty cool shot of the Fun Gang that looks like it's drawn by Temmie, I think?

The first one isn't that strange. There are two enemies with little fires. If chapter four has dragon blazers references, maybe these are elemental enemies? The second one is... Much weirder. What... W... What does Jockington Grows The Beard.... MEAN????? Is... Is that the fountain texture??? Why is the font LIKE THAT? What's that... Weird... Swatchling??? Near them? WHAT IS INSIDE THAT CHEST? The only thing I really notice here is that the font reminds me of some older rpgs... Once again, I wonder if this means chapter four has dragon blazers content? I am assuming it is chapter four because... Why the FREAK!! would jockington be in CHAPTER 3????
